Hi Nic, thank you for sharing your feedback. We wanted to respond both for you and for anyone else reading.
Polyamide, also known as nylon, is commonly used in small amounts in quality socks, including many bamboo socks, because bamboo viscose alone has limited stretch and durability. It helps the socks keep their shape, improves resilience at the heel and toe, and makes them last longer.
We also want to clarify that polyamide is not the same as PFAS, often referred to as “forever chemicals”. Polyamide is a standard textile fibre widely used in clothing worn directly against the skin including medical compression socks.
We take transparency seriously and list the full material breakdown on each product page so customers can see exactly what they are buying before ordering.
We’re genuinely sorry this pair wasn’t right for you. As with any of our products, we’re happy to help with a return or refund in line with our returns policy, provided the socks are unused and in their original packaging.
